Some special visitors are in town this weekend to kick off June Dairy Month.
Cows took over part of the Dane County Farmers Market to teach kids about the impact of agriculture on Wisconsin’s economy. The industry contributes $43.3 billion every year.
People could get up close and personal to pet the cattle. They could also talk with local farmers about where their dairy products come from.
The annual Cows on the Concourse event is sponsored by Dane County Farmers of Wisconsin.
